About Us

NJ Council for Economic Education

The NJ Council provides professional development in economics and personal finance to New Jersey’s K-12 teachers.  Our resources are developed in collaboration with our education partners at NJ schools, universities, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Philadelphia.  The resources are aligned to meet New Jersey Department of Education’s Personal Financial Literacy Standard 9.2.

NJ Mission

The mission of the NJCEE is to help integrate economic and financial literacy into New Jersey’s K-12 curriculum by providing professional development resources to our teachers. A solid foundation of economic education is essential in fostering a free society of responsible and self-reliant citizens.
