I am excited to announce that we are hosting a 3-day Economics Boot Camp (July 18-20) that is designed for high school teachers who are new to teaching economics.
This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the fundamental economic concepts:
Microeconomics: Supply and demand, elasticity, consumer choice, price ceilings and floors, production decisions, economics profit, market structures, labor markets
Macroeconomics: GDP, Circular flow, unemployment, inflation, Federal Reserve system, monetary policy, fiscal policy exchange rates, benefits of trade
Personal Finance: banking, compound interest, budgeting, careers, income, salary, credit, consumer debt, mortgages, investments, insurance taxes.
You will leave feeling confident in teaching high school economics. Plus, you'll get free resources and materials as well as 18 CTLE credits!
